Freshly shucked oysters
The foundation of Shucks’ offering is our amazing freshly-shucked oysters from all regions of Australia. We regularly feature Sydney Rock Oysters, St Helens, Blackman Bay, Pipe Clay Lagoon and more from Tasmania’s beautiful cold waters, along with South Australia’s pristine Coffin Bay and Franklin Harbour pacific oyster beauties. In season, we also offer Moreton Bay Rock Oysters, delivered direct to us from a local boat ramp, with the tidal sandbank lease a short 20 minute boat ride from the mainland. It doesn’t get fresher than that!
Fresh oysters are our mainstay, but thanks to the awe-inspiring skills of Head Chef Michelle Pickworth, the fantastic dishes made fresh in our kitchen are virtually as popular as our signature product (and sometimes outsell our oysters, particularly when a seasonal special based on available local seafood is advertised on our social media.
